Summer Project

My Mood Board

For our summer project, we had to create a mood board of where we would like to be in 5 years time. My inspirations are Karla Powell and Kristyan Mallet and I used their websites to get some of my images from. I also used google and cut up a range of magazines. There are many different styles of makeup that interest me such as commercial, high end fashion and even working for well known magazines but prosthetics is what amazes me the most as it can be used for so many different things. I would really like to work for Millennium FX alongside Neill Gorton and Rob Mayor. I am really proud of what I have created as I have put a lot of time and effort into creating it and I also think it reflects exactly what I want to do.

Megan Owen's Mood Board

Megan was influenced by Karla Powell for her mood board as she loves her style and the way she works. Her research is based on images from the internet including sites such as google. Megan would love to go travelling and she would like to go into commercial makeup. She is pleased with the outcome of her mood board but feels that she could have done better. 

Hannah Thornborough's Mood Board

Hannah loves the Kardashians and would love to be a personal makeup artist for celebrities like them or maybe a high fashion makeup artist for runways. She is also interested in prosthetics. Her research is based on images from sites such as google and twitter and she is pleased with how her mood board has turned out.

Sylwia Mazur's Mood Board

This is Sylwia's mood board, she is interested in fashion makeup for photo shoots and magazines - working for big brands. She loved Sarah Stellas work and would love to be a part of London Fashion Week and wants to have fun and enjoy the job that she does. Sylwia is interested in fake hair and wigs and she would love to travel and move to LA. Her research is based from the internet and magazines such as closer and heat. She is proud of her mood board as it reflects exactly what she wants to do.

Jasmine Collin's Mood Board

Jasmine would love to work with big brands for catwalks, she is also interested in film makeup, working for films like The Great Gatsby and Moulin Rouge. She would also love to do the makeup for shows on broadway. If she could, she would work with celebrities such as Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne. Her research is mostly based form magazines such as Vogue and Cosmopolitan and is very pleased with the way it has turned out as it reflects where she sees herself in the future.
